How can I create my PayMaya Account?

This is the step-by-step on how you can easily register your account.

1. Enter the necessary personal information (Such as：name, mobile number, date of birth, and email address）
2. Read the Data Privacy Policy page and Tap “AGREE”. 
3. Enter the verification code to be sent to your registered number.
4. Enter the verification code in your app once prompted.
5. Enter your address and birthday.
6. Enter the required information under the Online Payment Card Number page. You’ll receive a confirmation of your PayMaya account activation.

So you have the PayMaya account. Now, it’s time to add money to your account.

How do I upgrade my PayMaya account?

Easily upgrade your PayMaya account by following the steps below:

1. Log in to your PayMaya app, then tap “Menu” (top left for Android) or “More” (bottom right for iOS).
2. Tap “Upgrade for Free”.
3. Fill in the required information, upload a clear photo of at least one primary ID then tap “Submit”. Note: All photos you upload should be well-lit, clear, and have the IDs entirely visible (no parts covered).
4. Wait for an in-app or SMS notification from PayMaya with your upgrade verification code.
5.  Tap “Start Video Call” to talk to an on-duty Upgrade Officer who will validate your application.

Upgrading your Account is one of the steps that you need to do for you to ‘Send Money”.

How can I add money to my PayMaya Account?

Steps

1. Log into your PayMaya App.
2. Tap “Add Money”.
3. Select the Add Money Partner of your choice.
4. Follow the instructions given by the Add Money Partner of your choice.

A transaction fee to add money to PayMaya

Adding Money to your PayMaya account is free in selected Add Money partners as long as it is within the Php 10,000 monthly threshold. After reaching the monthly threshold, a convenience fee of 1% will be deducted from the amount of your credited balance.

How to Scan to Pay via QR?

PayMaya QR is very useful when it comes to paying what you wanted to buy without cash using only your mobile phone.

Steps

1. Click the “Scan To Pay” at the bottom part of the home screen of your PayMaya app
2. Scan the merchant’s QR code.
3. Proceed to input the amount that you want, once the merchant name reflected on your screen.
4. Click “Send Payment” or “Pay”.
5. You will receive a confirmation message in the app and via SMS for you to know if the transaction is successful. 
6. Present the confirmation message to the merchant.

How to Buy/Send Load in PayMaya App?

Now you can easily buy load using your PayMaya App.

Steps：Buy Load

1. Click “More” on the app homepage
2. Click on “Shop”
3. Go to “Mobile” (for Android) or “Load” (for iOS)
4. Choose the desired load amount or package.
5. Enter your mobile number and you may also add a message then click “Continue”
6. Click “Buy”

Steps：Send Load to Others

1. Click “More” on the home page
2. Click on “Shop”
3. Go to “Mobile” (for Android) or “Load” (for iOS)
4. Choose your preferred load.
5. Toggle Send as Gift button
6. Enter the recipient’s mobile number.
7. You may also add your message below the recipient’s number.
8. Click “Continue”
9. Verify your load purchase details.
10. Click “Buy”
11. Wait for load purchase confirmation.

How to Pay Bills to your PayMaya App?

1. Select “Pay Bills” on the homepage of the PayMaya app
2. Choose the biller.
3. Input the required information.
4. Enter the amount to be paid.
5. Confirm the payment.
6. Wait for PayMaya’s confirmation on your payment via SMS.
